Description :
The low-voltage system of offshore oil platforms is very different from that of onshore power systems. It belongs to the neutral point ungrounded system. Nowadays, most offshore platforms use insulation monitoring devices to monitor the insulation condition of the system. Platform electrical personnel need to cut off the low-voltage load circuits on site one by one for fault diagnosis, which brings great difficulties to the search for grounding faults. The low-voltage power grid system of offshore oil platforms belongs to an independent power grid system. In order to ensure platform production, the low-voltage system of the platform cannot be shut down due to insulation failure of a certain load. Therefore, the 0.4kV low-voltage power system of the platform adopts a neutral point insulation system. The characteristic of a neutral point insulation system is that when a single-phase grounding occurs, the voltage and phase between each phase remain unchanged, and the balance of the three-phase system is not disrupted, so it can continue to operate in a short period of time. However, if operated with faults for a long time, it can cause phase to phase short circuits, or when single-phase arc light is grounded, the system will resonate and cause overvoltage, which will put a lot of pressure on the platform production.
Nowadays, most oil platforms are equipped with insulation monitoring devices. The original insulation monitoring equipment can only monitor the insulation level of the entire busbar and cannot detect which specific load has insulation faults. Therefore, insulation monitoring and fault location systems can be used to locate insulation fault circuits.







The hardware architecture of the underground power cable online monitoring system terminal includes low-frequency signal source, voltage and current transformer, signal conditioning circuit, digital/analog acquisition circuit, DSP central processor, CAN bus communication, keyboard input, power supply, clock, display and other modules. During operation, the input terminal of the signal conditioning circuit is a voltage current transformer, which converts the received signal into a signal that can be recognized by the A/D module for conversion from analog signal to digital signal, and then transmits it to the DSP central processor for data processing and operation.
The function of the current transformer is to monitor the low-frequency current signal of the cable in real time, and a closed-loop Hall type high-precision current transformer with model SCB2 is selected. The range of the current transformer is 0~10mA, the input current range is 0~10mA, the output current range is 0~25mA, the full-scale linearity is ± 0.2%, the full-scale accuracy is ± 0.8%, and the response time is less than 20uS. The function of the voltage transformer is to monitor low-frequency voltage signals in real time. The selected model is a Hall current type voltage transformer, with an input current range of 0~14mA, an output current range of 0~25mA, and a measurement voltage range of 10~500V. The function of the analog/digital conversion module is to convert the collected voltage and current signals into digital signals in real time. The A/D module with model ADS8365 is selected, which has high accuracy and 16 bit parallel data transmission function, and can simultaneously transmit 6 analog signals. Synchronous sampling and conversion. The DSP central processing unit is selected as the TMS320F28335 chip, which supports multiple languages and codes and has good program portability.
