2、 Characteristics:
The measurement of flow rate is not affected by changes in fluid density, viscosity, temperature, pressure, and conductivity. The sensor induced voltage signal is linearly related to the average flow rate, resulting in high measurement accuracy (0.3-0.5%).
There is no obstruction in the measuring pipeline, so there is no additional pressure loss, which has significant energy-saving significance.
There are no movable parts inside the measuring pipeline, so the sensor has a long lifespan.
The straight pipe section required for the sensor is relatively short, making it easy to install.
Reasonable selection of electrode and lining materials can resist corrosion and wear.
3、 Selection of installation location:
1. The flow direction indicator on the sensor must match the direction of the measured medium flow inside the pipeline.
2. The installation position must ensure that the measuring tube is filled with the measured medium.
3. Choose a location with smaller fluid flow impulse, which should be away from the pump and local resistance components (valves, elbows, etc.)
4. When measuring two-phase fluids, a location that is not prone to phase separation should be selected.
5. Installation in areas with negative pressure inside the pipe should be avoided as much as possible.
6. When the measured medium easily causes adhesion and scaling on the inner wall of the electrode and measuring tube, it is recommended that the flow velocity inside the measuring tube should not be less than 2m/s.
