　　3、 Installation and use:

　　1. A filter should be installed in front of the flowmeter, and the arrows on both casings should point in the same direction as the flow.

　　2. When the measured liquid contains gas, a gas separator should be installed in front of the flowmeter.

　　3. Regardless of whether the pipeline is installed vertically or horizontally, the elliptical gear shaft in the flowmeter is installed in a horizontal position. The dial should be perpendicular to the ground.

　　4. If it is difficult to see the reading clearly when the flowmeter is installed correctly, the counter can be turned 180 ° or 90 °, both of which are acceptable.

　　5. Before installing the new flowmeter, use a bamboo stick to push the gear several times from the outlet. If it doesn't move, you can soak it in gasoline (to avoid sediment accumulation after factory calibration).

　　6. The throttle valve should be installed at the inlet of the flowmeter, and the switch valve should be installed at the outlet. When opening and closing each valve, it should be started slowly and not quickly opened or closed.

　　7. It is strictly prohibited to use sweeping steam to pass through the flowmeter.

　　8. In continuous use departments, flow meters must be equipped with bypass pipelines.

　　9. Before installing the flowmeter, the pipeline must be flushed. During flushing, a straight pipe section (replacing the position of the elliptical flowmeter) should be used to prevent welding slag, debris, etc. from entering the flowmeter.

　　10. It is strictly prohibited to use water to calibrate flow meters made of cast iron material.
