      DN25 gas waist wheel flowmeter LLQ natural gas waist wheel flowmeter

      This product is a volumetric flow meter. When gas passes through the flowmeter, the pressure difference generated between the inlet and outlet acts on a pair of Roots wheels coupled with high-precision synchronous gears, thereby driving the Roots wheels to rotate. During this period, the enclosed space formed between the Roots wheel and the inner wall and cover plate of the housing is used for periodic inflation and exhaust of the metering chamber. The number of revolutions of the Roots wheel is directly proportional to the volume of gas passing through the flowmeter. The rotation of the Roots wheel is converted into an electrical pulse signal through a magneto electric converter, which is then sent to a flow integrator for processing and displaying the total amount of gas.

      3. Installation

      1. When installing a flow meter, the inlet and outlet packaging should be removed, and it is necessary to prevent particulate impurities from falling into the measuring chamber. If the measuring chamber meter is coated with rust proof oil, it can be washed clean with gasoline or kerosene, and the interior of the Jingchu pipeline should be strictly inspected. Filters and screens should be installed on the flow meter to prevent rust, welding slag, and other impurities from entering the measuring chamber.

      2. When installing the flowmeter, the logistics inlet and outlet should be in a vertical or horizontal position, and the rotor axis should be kept as horizontal as possible.

      3. When the gas pressure fluctuation range is large, a pressure regulator should be installed upstream of the flowmeter to ensure measurement accuracy.

      4. To prevent rust, welding slag, and other impurities from entering the flowmeter in the newly installed pipeline, users of Anhui waist wheel flowmeter should first install the transition pipe at the installation position of the flowmeter, ventilate for a period of time, and ensure that there are no large particles before getting the flowmeter. If welding pipelines, transition pipes should be used and cannot be directly welded to flow meters. The processing of its transition tube can refer to Table 3

      5. There are two forms of installation for flow meters: vertical installation at the inlet and outlet and horizontal installation at the inlet and outlet. It is strongly recommended to install the flowmeter vertically, where the gas flow direction is upward and downward. The rotor during this installation has self-cleaning ability against impurities in the pipeline, reducing maintenance, improving service life, and ensuring measurement accuracy. In special circumstances, horizontal installation (also known as left in and right out) can be adopted. When installing a flowmeter, front and rear door valves and bypass pipelines should be installed to ensure that the gas does not have to be stopped during maintenance.
