3、 Installation matters:
(1) Gas turbine flow meters are precision measuring instruments that must be handled carefully during transportation, storage, and operation.
(2) Before installing the flowmeter into the pipeline, tear off the adhesive tape at the flange inlet and outlet, and use the blowing method to check whether the impeller rotates smoothly and flexibly.
(3) Before installing the flowmeter, especially when it is installed on a new or repaired pipeline, the pipeline should be cleaned first to remove all slag, rust, and other pipeline debris.
(4) After the hydraulic static test of the pipeline, any liquid left in the pipeline will damage the internal parts of the turbine flowmeter. If hydraulic static testing is necessary, the turbine flowmeter must be replaced with a pipe section to ensure that no liquid remains in the upstream pipeline of the turbine flowmeter after hydraulic static testing.
(5) The flow meter should be installed horizontally. Flow meters with lubrication systems should be installed with the lubrication bottle opening facing upwards. Gas turbine flow meters with a nominal diameter of DN ≤ 200 can be installed vertically. When installing and using, the airflow direction should be from top to bottom.
