      1、 ND-4 Internal Combustion Stamping Machine Product Introduction

      The ND-4 internal combustion compactor is a small road maintenance machinery used for the maintenance of railway ballast beds, mainly for the compaction operation of ballast beds. It has a novel design and compact structure, making it a fast and easy to operate tamping equipment, especially suitable for tamping operations on turnouts. This machine is mainly composed of a gasoline engine, a vibration damping device, a transmission shaft, a vibrating body, and a handle, forming an independent and complete handheld compactor. There are no lengthy cables or bulky flexible shafts, and the structure is reasonable and compact, making it easy to use.

      3、 Basic structure and working principle

      This machine adopts a design of direct connection between a two-stroke gasoline engine and a tamping rod, mainly composed of a gasoline engine, a damping device, a transmission shaft, a vibrating body, and a handle. Its working principle is that the gasoline engine drives the eccentric iron through the clutch and flexible shaft, generating amplitude to achieve compaction operation.

      4、 Usage and maintenance

      1. Preparation before use.

      1. Check and tighten the bolts and threaded connections of each part of the machine, which should be securely connected.

      Mix gasoline and two-stroke engine oil in a ratio of 25:1 and shake well.

      Pour the mixed gasoline into the gasoline engine casing and wipe off any remaining gasoline on the outer surface.

      Inject oil (No. 30 mechanical oil) into the 4-way intermediate connecting sleeve. When injecting oil, first remove the M6x10 bolt from the middle connecting sleeve, then use a needle tube to inject oil into the oil hole. After the oil injection is complete, tighten the bolt. The injection volume is 20ml, and oil should be injected every 8 hours after operation, with 10ml of oil injected each time. (After 100 hours of operation, the lubricating oil should be drained and replaced with new lubricating oil).

      Attention: The lubricating oil inside the rod should not be excessive, and the oil level should not come into contact with the lower end bearing of the eccentric block.

      After checking for accuracy, prepare to start.

      Attention: The main engine used for this machine is a two-stroke all-round working gasoline engine. Please use a mixture of gasoline and two-stroke gasoline engine specific engine oil, otherwise it will affect the operation of the gasoline engine or cause cylinder damage.

      3. Compaction operation and shutdown.

      1. Hold the tamping pick handle and turn up the throttle of the gasoline engine, repeatedly inserting it into the ballast of the track bed for tamping operation. Attention: Do not sway left or right, it must be compacted upright.

      During the break between work hours, the machine should be stopped and not idle for a long time.

      When stopping, first turn down the throttle and idle for 3-5 seconds before pressing and holding the stop button to stop the machine.

      When resting for a long time or not in use, the handle of the tamping pick should be placed flat on the ground with the handle facing downwards to avoid hitting the gasoline engine.

      Attention: Do not place the tamping axe upside down (with the axe head facing up).

      5、 Precautions

      1. Use 92 octane or higher unleaded gasoline or ethanol gasoline and two-stroke special engine oil, with a gasoline engine oil mixture ratio of 25:1.

      2. Do not vibrate rigid objects or slab track beds, and try to avoid collisions with concrete sleepers and steel rails. This machine is not suitable for compacting slab track beds.

      3. When adding blended gasoline, it must be in a stopped state and kept away from sources of ignition.

      4. During tamping operations, do not swing the machine left or right, and do not twist the operating handrails or pry or twist the sleepers.

      5. This machine should be waterproof and should not be used in the rain.

      6. If loose threads are found at the threaded connection during use, please tighten them promptly to avoid damage caused by continued use.

      7. Please do not touch the exhaust pipe and high-pressure ignition device to avoid burns.
