　　Before installing and using the instrument, please remove the horizontal adjustment screw 2 and the horizontal locking screw 2 (with springs inside, pay attention to safety), remove the waterproof cable used for testing, thread a suitable length of waterproof cable through the compression nut, connect the rear cover to the wiring terminal inside the instrument (be careful not to connect the wrong terminal), and reinstall the horizontal adjustment screw 2 and the horizontal locking screw 2 in the original order.

　　3. Installation of instruments and anchor rods

　　As shown in the figure. The installation hole for the instrument fixing plate is 12mm. Four anchor rods with a diameter less than 12mm are pre drilled at the center of the tunnel top, at distances of 158mm and 56mm, with self-made threads. (The length does not affect on-site construction), install a nut and washer on each anchor rod to the upper part of the thread, then align the instrument's fixing plate with the anchor rod and thread it in. Use the upper and lower nuts and washers of the anchor rod to press the fixing plate firmly until it is firm.
