This cold atomic absorption mercury analyzer is a newly developed instrument by Qingdao Jingcheng. It can conveniently and quickly determine low concentration mercury in liquid samples, as well as trace mercury in solid and gas samples that have been processed and converted into solutions. Mercury atomic vapor has a strong absorption effect on ultraviolet light with a wavelength of 253.7nm. Within a certain range, the relationship between its absorption value and the concentration of mercury atomic vapor conforms to Lambert Beer's law. The instrument is designed and manufactured based on this principle. This mercury analyzer is equipped with a built-in computer system, which significantly enhances its measurement and calculation functions. The instrument has a large LCD display function, which can intuitively read out data and display measurement results and other parameter information. The mercury ions in the reduction bottle and the sample solution are reduced to metallic mercury by stannous chloride. Under the action of the circulation pump, the metallic mercury vaporizes and is loaded into the absorption cell. The instrument measures its absorption value and the internal computer system calculates it to display or print the concentration value of mercury in the sample.
