Brief Introduction to the Principle of CODcr Water Quality Online Automatic Monitoring Instrument：
Take a quantitative water sample, add silver solution and concentrated mixture, and heat it to 165 ℃ in a digestion tank and maintain it for a period of time. During this period, chromium ions act as oxidants and are reduced from VI valence to III valence, changing color. The absorbance corresponds to the content of organic compounds in the sample, and the instrument directly displays the COD of the sample through colorimetric conversion. The main interfering substance of this method is chloride, which is automatically added before digestion
