Precautions for on-site sampling of domestic sewage
In order to ensure that sewage treatment meets discharge standards, it is necessary to first understand the specific situation on site, and then take water samples for laboratory analysis. The results of water sample quality experiments directly affect the operation judgment, dosage of chemicals, operation methods, and final discharge of sewage treatment. Its importance is self-evident. Here are some experiences gained from years of field sampling in Shuangni Environment, to share with us:
1. Pay attention to the water sample
Based on the customer's telephone communication and on-site inspection, before collecting water samples, we need to fully understand the customer's sewage treatment process, daily sewage treatment volume, share of sludge return, as well as the share of daily sewage and industrial wastewater. The volume of each water tank in the biochemical system and the residence time of sewage, the inflow of sewage into the front of each water tank in the biochemical system is 3-5 liters, and the external drainage requirement is 1 liter to ensure that the water sample is sufficient for laboratory testing.
2. Precautions to be taken in water sample testing
After collecting water samples from various processes of the biochemical system, customers should organize logistics or express delivery in a timely manner to ensure the timeliness of data and water samples. After receiving water samples from users, the navigation environmental protection department should fill out the water sample test form on the same day, submit it for review in a timely manner, register the water sample information of each user, and notify the experimental department of the specific sewage treatment situation to facilitate the laboratory to simulate on-site testing. Timely detect water samples and provide data feedback.
3. Matters related to communication with customers
Understand the types of wastewater samples from customers (such as paper mills, chemical plants, river treatment plants, daily wastewater treatment plants, etc.). Together with users, fulfill the discharge standards, targets, water and discharge data, and the dosage of drugs that need to be added to the biochemical system for sewage treatment. Conduct on-site skill operations and interface with laboratory personnel, exchange the share and usage of the tested drugs, provide experimental procedures and usage instructions, ensure the accuracy of experimental data between both parties, convert it into collaboration, and further reduce customer costs.
4. Precautions for on-site sampling
When sampling, if the concentration of organic wastewater in the enclosed water tank is high, the risk of carbon monoxide poisoning and suffocation should be avoided. During rainy and snowy days, attention should be paid to avoiding slipping and damage to the upper, lower, and aeration tanks. When accompanied, fasten your seat belt to avoid drowning accidents.
