    Epoxy zinc rich primer

      Composition characteristics:

      This paint is a two-component heavy-duty anti-corrosion primer composed of zinc powder, epoxy resin of component A as the base material, and ultrafine zinc powder and epoxy resin as one component (A), curing agent of component B, and polyamide resin as the curing agent. It has the characteristics of drying at room temperature and low precipitation of zinc powder.

      Performance and Usage:

      The zinc powder content in the paint film is relatively high, which has cathodic protection effect, good adhesion, and excellent water resistance and anti-corrosion performance. It also has the characteristics of fast drying of paint film and oil resistance, and can be matched with most anti rust paints and topcoats. The thickness of the paint film should be controlled at around 20 microns without affecting the welding performance. This paint can be used as a maintenance primer for steel plates in various parts of shipbuilding and bridges after shot blasting treatment, and as an anti-corrosion coating for steel structure surfaces.

      Painting matching and construction:

      1. Before painting, first mix and stir the two components A and B of the paint according to the specified ratio, and let them mature for half an hour before painting construction can begin.

      Paint component A: component B=7:1, with a shelf life of 8 hours at 25 ℃ after preparation.

      2. The paint can be applied using methods such as coating, rolling coating, and high-pressure airless spraying.

      3. Usage parameters: Approximately 80 grams per square meter as maintenance primer, with a dry film thickness of 20 microns. As an anti rust paint, it weighs about 270 grams per square meter and has a dry film thickness of 70 microns.

      5. Metal surface treatment: In order to protect metal objects, steel surfaces need to be treated with shot blasting or sandblasting methods to remove oxide scale, rust, oil stains, etc., and can only be coated after reaching the Swedish rust removal standard Sa2.5 level.

      7. The curing reaction is slow when the construction environment is below 10 ℃.
