Overview of Acid Mist Purification Tower:
This process and product have the characteristics of simple structure, low energy consumption, high purification efficiency, and wide applicability. The acid mist exhaust gas is introduced into the purification tower through a pipeline, passes through a packing layer, and undergoes gas-liquid two-phase absorption and neutralization reaction with the alkali solution. After purification, the acid mist exhaust gas is dehydrated and defogged by a defogging plate before being discharged into the atmosphere by a fan. The absorption liquid is pressurized by a water pump at the bottom of the tower, sprayed down from the top of the tower, and finally refluxed to the bottom for recycling.
After the solid surface adsorbs the adsorbate, a portion of the adsorbed adsorbate can detach from the adsorbent surface, which is now attached. After a period of adsorption, due to the concentration of surface adsorbates, their adsorption capacity significantly decreases and the requirements for adsorption purification are met. At this time, certain measures need to be taken to desorb the adsorbates already adsorbed on the adsorbent to enhance its adsorption capacity. This process is called adsorbent regeneration. Therefore, in practical adsorption engineering, it is the cycle of adsorption regeneration and repeated adsorption that is used to remove pollutants from the exhaust gas and recover useful components from the exhaust gas.

Catalytic combustion is a purification method that uses catalysts to oxidize and decompose combustible substances in exhaust gas at lower temperatures. So, catalytic combustion is also known as catalytic chemical conversion. Due to the acceleration of the oxidation decomposition process by the catalyst, most hydrocarbons can be completely oxidized by the catalyst at temperatures of 300-450 ℃.
Compared with the thermal combustion method, catalytic combustion requires less auxiliary fuel, consumes less energy, and has smaller equipment and facilities. However, the promotion and application of this method in industrial production processes have been affected by issues such as catalyst poisoning, replacement of catalytic beds, and high cleaning costs.
