　　Foam generator, also known as air foam generator, foam generator and foam generator, is a fire extinguishing equipment fixed on the oil tank to generate and spray air foam. When the foam mixed liquid flow supplied by the fixed fire pump of the foam fire truck passes through the generator through the transmission pipeline, it forms air foam to extinguish the oil fire. It is generally divided into two specifications: vertical and horizontal.

　　Structure principle: foam generator is mainly composed of three parts: shell group, foam nozzle group and guide plate group.

　　When the foam mixture flows through the nozzle of the generator, it forms a diffused atomized jet, which generates negative pressure around it, so that a large amount of air is sucked in to form an air foam. The air foam is input into the storage tank through the foam nozzle and guide plate, flows down the tank wall, and is stably covered on the combustion liquid surface.

The generator should be installed horizontally on the upper part of the tank wall and should not be installed on the top of the tank. When installing, the cover plate should face downwards and should not be installed on the side. When used for external floating roof storage tank, it shall be installed on the foam shroud at the top of the storage tank.
