Description :

　　The air foam generator, also known as the air foam generator, is a fire-fighting device installed on the tank wall of the upper ring plate of the oil tank for spraying foam when the oil tank is put out of fire. The nozzle is sealed off from the air in the tank with thin glass sheets (or diaphragms) to prevent the oil or gas in the tank from entering the foam room or the fire pipeline.

　　The liquid jet air foam generator is fixed on the upper part of the wall of oil tanks and various hydrocarbon liquid storage containers. According to the different installation methods, there are two types: vertical and horizontal.

　　The underwater jet air foam generator is used for the underwater jet fire extinguishing system. Since the foam of the underwater injection foam extinguishing system is pressed in from the tank bottom, the pipeline resistance and the static pressure of the oil layer in the tank must be overcome, also known as the high pressure foam generator.

　　The type and number of foam generators installed in oil tanks are determined by calculation according to the capacity of oil tanks, the type of oil products stored, the size of oil surface, and the type of foam, but the number shall not be less than two, and each has a separate fire pipeline to supply foam mixture. When the foam mixed liquid flow supplied by the fixed fire pump of the foam fire truck passes through the generator through the transmission pipeline, it forms air foam to extinguish the oil fire. There are generally four models: PC-4, PC-8, PC-16, and PC-24.
