Pressure type proportional mixing device
PHYM series pressure type proportioning device is composed of foam liquid storage tank, pressure type proportioner, safety valve, control valve and some auxiliary parts. When the fire pressure water flows through the equipment, the proportional mixer divides its proportion, and a small part of the water flows into the interlayer of the foam liquid storage tank. The replaced foam liquid is mixed with the fire water of the other main pipes to form a certain proportion of foam liquid mixture, which is delivered to the foam generating equipment. PHYM series pressure type proportional mixing device is applicable to all kinds of foam liquid with a mixing ratio of 3%/6%.
The pressure type foam proportioning device is used to store foam extinguishing agent and replace foam extinguishing agent through the pressure type foam proportioner using the water supply of the pump set, and mix with the water supply in a certain proportion to form foam mixture.

【working principle】
The pressure type foam proportioning device is mainly composed of a foam liquid pressure storage tank and a PHY type pressure type proportioner made by using the Venturi principle. When the water flow in the system pipe network passes through the pressure reducing orifice plate of the proportioner, a pressure difference will be formed before and after the orifice plate. Part of the water (3% or 6%) at the high pressure enters the foam tank through the water inlet pipe of the foam tank and is squeezed. The foam liquid in the tank is squeezed through the liquid outlet pipe of the foam tank to the low pressure of the proportioner and mixed with water to form foam mixture. The formed foam mixture is output to the foam production equipment and mixed with air to produce foam.

Installation and usage instructions
【 Installation of the device】
The direction of pressure water flow during installation should be consistent with the direction indicated by the arrow on the proportional mixer on the device. Pressure gauges, one-way valves, control valves, pipeline filters, etc. should be installed before the proportioning mixer;
The foam tank shall be fixed with the ground foundation.
【Filling method of foam concentrate】
Close all valves, open two exhaust valves, fill 1/3 to 1/2 of the tank water between the tank and the tank through the water inlet pipe and the drain port, then open the liquid filling port, insert an inch rubber pipe from the liquid filling port to the tank bottom, inject foam extinguishing agent into the tank through the crossover pipe, open the drain valve after water is discharged from the exhaust port, and drain water at a flow similar to the flow of foam liquid filling until the foam liquid is fully filled. After filling is completed, close the filling port and drainage valve, open the inlet valve, and slowly fill the space between the tank and the tank with water until water flows out from the exhaust port. Close the exhaust valve and inlet valve, and then rinse the scattered fire extinguishing agent outside the device with clean water.
【 The function of the device】
A proportional mixer should be used within the specified pressure and mixed liquid flow range. The mixing ratio of the mixed liquid output by the proportional mixer can be automatically adjusted within the specified flow range with changes in water flow rate to maintain a stable mixing ratio;
When the pressure water passes through the proportional mixer, open the inlet valve for storage. At this time, observe the pressure gauge. When the pressure reaches the design pressure value, immediately open the outlet valve, and the device will start working;
The C device should be installed indoors or in a place with a protective shed to avoid direct sunlight and rain. The ambient temperature should be maintained within the range of 0-40 ℃.
【maintenance】
After the installation and acceptance of the device, there should be full-time or part-time firefighters to inspect, maintain and upkeep the device:
1. Regularly inspect the storage tank and proportioner every month to ensure that there are no leaks, rust, mechanical damage, etc;
2. Test the foam liquid in the tank every half a year to ensure that the chemical composition and performance of foam liquid meet the standard requirements;
3. Open the ball valve of the level gauge to observe the level of foam. After observation, close the ball valve of the level gauge in time
