Verification of the metrological performance of force measuring instruments
Install and adjust the force measuring instrument to its working state.
For a dial gauge type force gauge, adjust its indicator device to zero (or use it as the starting position for zero); For equivalent force measuring instruments, the indicator device should be reset to zero (or the reading value of the indicator device should be recorded at zero load), and the loading and unloading should be slow and smooth, without any impact or overload (the same below).
The force measuring instrument should be preloaded with at least 3 rated loads in a given manner, and the holding time for each rated load should be between 30s and 1min. After the preload is completely removed each time, wait for at least 30 seconds for it to return to zero, check the zeroing status of the indicator device, and adjust the zero point as needed.
The primary load for verification is generally 10% to 20% of the rated load, and the verification points should be evenly distributed as much as possible, generally not less than 8 points. When the verification value is less than 10% of the full-scale force value, the two verification points of 5% and 2% of the full-scale force value should be selected.
Verify point by point in the order of increasing load. After each level of load is added, hold for a certain period of time (usually 30 seconds) and record the reading value cloud until the rated load is reached. According to the requirements of the inspection unit, the force measuring instrument that needs to undergo process calibration shall be calibrated for the return value point by point according to the decreasing load, until it returns to zero load. At least maintain the zero reading value after reading. If necessary, the zero point of the indicator device needs to be readjusted.
