Allowing overload refers to the condition where the performance indicators of the sensor remain unchanged after removing this load. Extreme overload refers to the condition where the sensor does not produce harmful mechanical deformation under this load. The allowable overload for general sensors is 150%, and the maximum overload is between 200% and 300%. Some sensors with overload protection may exceed a certain range. Due to its special design, the Youzhongli SSD-YL sensor allows for overload up to 500%. This type of sensor can operate reliably even under frequent overload conditions. The protection level of sensors is usually represented by IP. Most sensor manufacturers claim that their products meet the IP67 standard, while a few manufacturers have some products that meet the IP68 standard. We know that the IP code represents the protection level of the electrical product's casing when the voltage does not exceed it.
According to the national standard "GB4208-93 Degrees of Protection for Enclosures", IP67 refers to the product's ability to prevent dust and short-term water immersion; IP68 refers to the product's ability to prevent dust and the impact of continuous diving.
