Product Introduction
Silane paste penetrant primer is an excellent penetrant impregnating agent with a small molecular structure. It deeply penetrates the capillary pore walls of concrete and reacts with hydrated cement to form a polysiloxane interpenetrating network structure. Through strong chemical bonding reactions, it endows the microstructure of the concrete surface with long-term hydrophobicity and maintains breathability, greatly reducing the invasion of water and harmful chloride ions, ensuring that the concrete structure is protected from corrosion.
Silane paste permeable primer provides strong guarantee for the long-term durability and normal safe use of reinforced concrete buildings, while not having any side effects on the efficacy and mechanical properties of the building materials themselves.
Reinforced concrete buildings that have been coated with silane paste permeable primer will not change in appearance, just like wearing a waterproof and breathable "invisible", which can effectively suppress corrosion damage caused by various harmful environmental factors for a long time. Therefore, durable and efficient waterproofing is an important measure to improve the durability of concrete structures.
Scope of application:
Silane paste permeable primer can be used for both the protection of new concrete structures and the reinforcement and maintenance of old concrete buildings, such as harbor docks, cross sea bridges, cross river bridges, water conservancy engineering dams, urban overpasses, high-grade highway bridges, railway bridges, tunnels, airport pavements, plain concrete buildings, thermal and nuclear power plants, sewage treatment plants, etc. It is particularly suitable for the protection of various concrete structures that are subject to seawater corrosion, salt spray corrosion, snow melting agent corrosion, and freeze-thaw damage.
Construction technology:
1. To ensure the effectiveness of silane impregnation treatment, new construction projects should be carried out 2-4 weeks after the curing of concrete components, and repair projects should be carried out 1-2 weeks after curing. Construction should be stopped when the ambient temperature is below 5 ℃ or above 40 ℃, or when the wind force exceeds level 6, in order to reduce material loss.
2. Before construction, repair the defects in the concrete structure, rinse with a wire brush, compressed air, and fresh water to clean the surface of floating ash, sewage, oil stains, and other pollutants, and keep the surface dry for more than 3 days.
3. Before immersing a large area of silane, a spraying test should be conducted first, with a test area of 1-5 square meters. Then, core sampling and testing should be carried out on the test area according to the prescribed method. Only when the test results meet the judgment criteria can the silane impregnating solution be sprayed on the structure on a large area.
4. Usage and dosage of silane liquid: When spraying the liquid, it should be sprayed continuously to saturate and overflow the surface to be coated. Horizontal surface construction, spraying or brushing until the substrate surface is moist or mirror like. On the facade, spraying should be done from the bottom, with a vertical flow length of 15-20cm, to keep the coated surface moist for a few minutes. Spray liquid waterproofing agent twice, with a spraying amount of 300g/m2 per coat and an interval of 4-6 hours, to achieve a higher penetration depth.
5. Construction equipment: It is recommended to use airless spraying equipment for large-scale construction, which has high construction efficiency and can reduce the loss of raw materials; Small scale construction can use brushes or scrapers; If it suddenly rains during construction, stop construction immediately and carefully cover the already constructed components to prevent the loss of silane active ingredients before curing due to rain, which will affect the construction effect.
6. Maintenance: After silane construction, ensure that it is not exposed to rain for at least 24 hours and naturally air dried; To ensure ideal treatment results, the surface should be kept dry for at least 36 hours in summer and at least 72 hours in winter.
7. The absorption process of silane liquid impregnation solution will last for several hours, and the absorption rate depends on environmental conditions, such as the relative temperature of air, concrete mix ratio, concrete moisture content, exposure degree of the treated surface, sunlight and wind speed, etc. The concrete surface may temporarily turn black and take several days to restore its original appearance. Silane paste is a non flammable, non corrosive, water-based product. Masks, goggles, and gloves should be worn during construction. If it comes into contact with the skin or eyes, immediately rinse with plenty of water. If the situation is particularly serious, seek medical attention promptly.

Packaging and storage:
Silane impregnation is packaged in plastic drums, 20kg/drum.
The effective storage period from the date of production is 12 months.
It should be stored in a cool, dry, and ventilated warehouse, and should not be exposed to sunlight or rain. In winter, attention should be paid to antifreeze.
