      PPH orifice plate corrugated packing is a packing material processed from (β) - pph polypropylene material, designed and applied for acid regeneration absorption tower, acid mist washing tower, purification tower, and coking desulfurization tower in HCl regeneration units of steel plants.

      PPH orifice plate corrugated packing is used for the transportation of corrosion-resistant media in flue gas desulfurization, ion membrane caustic soda and other desulfurization towers, desulfurization and denitrification towers, washing towers, absorption towers, as well as process cooling water and chemical industries. It is also widely used in steel mills (acid washing, acid regeneration, acid mist) and other equipment and devices. (β) PPH polypropylene has excellent chemical corrosion resistance, low temperature mechanical strength, high pressure resistance, and other advantageous properties. It is suitable for use in acid regeneration absorption towers, acid mist washing towers, and purification towers in HCl regeneration units of steel plants, and has a very good application effect. In other absorption and desorption processes, it is also used for exhaust gas purification and heat exchange processes, as well as oil-water separation processes in oil fields and refineries. At present, it is widely used in industries such as refining, crude oil processing, petrochemicals, gas purification, fertilizers, environmental protection, desulfurization towers in fertilizer plants, metallurgy, and steel.

      Large diameter regular packing needs to be installed in blocks from the manhole inside the tower. The height of the tray is usually 100-300mm, and the length of each block can be the same as the chord length of the tower, or it can be divided into several blocks. For the convenience of production, packaging, transportation, and disassembly, the length of each piece should not exceed 1.8m. The filler pieces in each piece of filler are assembled by threading nails, and sometimes simply tied with metal wires or packing straps. To prevent deformation of the wire mesh filler during transportation, metal corner protectors are used to protect the filler.

      If the anti wall flow ring is integrated with the packing, the anti wall flow ring must be opened as required before installing each packing; If the anti wall flow ring and packing are separated, the anti wall flow ring should be placed in the required position during installation. Usually, installation starts from one end and ends at the other, with adjacent disks of packing forming a 90 degree angle. Every four trays of packing form a cycle, so rotating the packing tray in a clockwise (or counterclockwise) direction can reduce the horizontal error of the upper end face of the packing. After installing each tray of wire mesh packing, remove the corners. Installation personnel should not stand in the middle of the tower section, as this can easily form a "pot bottom" phenomenon with high circumference and low middle.

      After assembling each tray of packing, one piece needs to be installed with the help of a skateboard. Due to the non roundness of the tower and other reasons, it is sometimes necessary to add or remove pieces of packing as appropriate to make the packing suitable for the tower body. Installing the packing too tightly can cause deformation of the packing sheet, increase the total height of the packing, make the upper end face uneven, and decrease the efficiency flux. Similarly, if the packing is installed too loosely, it can lead to uneven gas-liquid distribution and a decrease in separation efficiency.

      In some special cases, due to time constraints or other reasons, the tray tower cannot be replaced with regular packing tower rings. It is necessary to make some packing with a diameter that matches the tower ring for installation at the tower ring. The design should consider the efficiency and flux losses caused by this
