      The stainless steel baffle defogger is mainly composed of plates and supporting devices. Plates are usually made of two major types of materials: polymer materials (such as polypropylene PP, FRP, etc.) or stainless steel (such as 316L, 317L, etc.). Generally divided into streamlined and folded types.

      (1) Mist removal efficiency: Under normal operating conditions, the concentration of fog droplets in the flue gas at the outlet of the defogger is less than 75mg/Nm3;

      (2) Pressure drop: Without considering the interference before and after the defogger, ensure that the pressure drop of the entire defogger system is below 120Pa under flue gas load.

      (3) High temperature resistance: 80-95 ℃.

      (4) Pressure resistance: Ensure that the blades can work normally when subjected to a flushing water pressure of 0.3MPa.

      (5) Rinse nozzle: Full cone nozzle, with a rinse water spray angle of 90-120 degrees, spraying solid cones to ensure that all blades are covered. (The design is based on the water consumption under Zuida gas load. Considering the requirement of system water balance, if the gas load decreases, the water consumption can be reduced by half by increasing the flushing interval time.).

      The common layout forms of defoggers include flat plate layout and roof layout.

      The demister is an important component of the desulfurization tower. The function of the mist eliminator is to capture the fog particles and slurry droplets carried by the smoke during the spray absorption process. The efficiency of the mist eliminator is related not only to its body structure but also to the gravity and particle size of the mist particles. The atomized particle size of the nozzle is related to the viscosity of the absorbing liquid, the force of the spray pawl and the nozzle structure. If the defogging is not done well, the slurry carried by the flue gas will be carried to downstream equipment such as the flue gas heater, induced draft fan (commonly used for desulfurization in industrial boilers), and flue gas, causing blockage, severe vibration of the induced draft fan, severe corrosion of the flue gas, and scaling.
