Description :
Process Description and Disadvantages of Traditional L-CNG Gas Station Equipment
1. Process description: Liquefied LNG is converted into low-temperature and high-pressure natural gas by a low-temperature plunger pump. The low-temperature natural gas is then heated by a high-pressure vaporizer and assisted by a reheater. After being controlled and divided by a sequence control panel, it is stored in low, medium, and high gas storage cylinder groups and sold to the outside through a gas filling column;
2. Opening of High Pressure Gasifier: It depends on the temperature transmitter at the rear end. When the temperature at the rear end of High Pressure Gasifier I reaches the set value, the emergency pneumatic cut-off valve at the front end is closed, and the emergency pneumatic cut-off valve at the front end of High Pressure Gasifier II is opened. High Pressure Gasifier II enters the gasification state, and High Pressure Gasifier I is thawed and ready for use; When the temperature at the rear end of the II high-pressure gasifier reaches the set value, close the emergency pneumatic cut-off valve at its front end and open the emergency pneumatic cut-off valve at the front end of the I high-pressure gasifier. The I high-pressure gasifier enters the gasification state, and the II high-pressure gasifier is thawed and ready for use;
3. Function of gas storage cylinder group: store a large amount of natural gas to avoid supply shortages;
4. Based on the usage of this process configuration, there are the following disadvantages:
a. L-CNG is controlled by LNG and CNG cannot work independently;
b. The working pressure of the low-temperature high-pressure plunger pump is 25MPa, and the load on the pump motor is high, resulting in high pump losses and easy damage to vulnerable parts. The pump has a service life of 5-8 months, and the cost of replacing vulnerable parts each time is over 10000 yuan, which is costly;
c. This process must be equipped with a reheater, which has poor stability, high power consumption, and high operating costs;
d. Traditional techniques have low conversion rates and require large storage capacity when applying high pressure, resulting in wasted investment;
e. When the station requires BOG recycling function, there will be duplicate investment with L-CNG, resulting in resource waste;
f. Low gas output rate, customers, especially taxi drivers, have reported insufficient gas filling, making it difficult to hand over shifts normally;
g. Wasting energy, consuming 0.04-0.05 kWh of electricity per cubic meter, equivalent to sub stations, cannot guarantee the profitability of the entire station.
New Process Description and Advantages of L-CNG Gas Station Equipment (LNG Station Achieving BOG Recovery while Considering Mother and Child Stations)
1. L-CNG function: Liquefied LNG enters the L-CNG pump and is gasified by the high-pressure gasifier. At this time, natural gas enters the unloading column through the unloading hose for metering. One of the gases enters the gas dispenser for sale, while the low-pressure cylinder group is the natural gas buffer at the inlet of the BOG compressor. One of the gases enters the BOG compressor at high pressure and enters the medium pressure. The high-pressure cylinder group is stored and goes to the gas dispenser for sale;
2. Having sub station functions: CNG tanker trucks unload through refueling columns, with one route of natural gas going to the refueling machine for refueling, and the other route entering the BOG compressor for compression into high pressure and entering the medium (low pressure as the medium pressure bottle group). The high pressure bottle group stores the gas and sells it at the refueling machine;

5. Function of gas storage cylinder group: In L-CNG mode, the low-pressure gas storage cylinder group serves as the inlet air buffer for the BOG compressor; In substation mode, the low-pressure cylinder group is merged into the medium pressure cylinder group to increase the medium pressure gas storage capacity;
6. The control of LNG is not affected by the L-CNG and BOG compressor modes and works independently.
New Process for L-CNG Gas Station Equipment Gas Station Process:
7. Based on the usage of this process configuration, the BOG compressor is integrated into L-CNG, replacing the reheater and sequence control panel, while also having the following advantages:
a. Technologically speaking, while meeting the coordination between various equipment, it also reduces the number of valves and pipelines used and lowers costs;
b. When the low-temperature high-pressure plunger pump is working, the pressure can reach 15MPa, which reduces the load on the pump motor, improves the working efficiency of the pump, extends the service life of the pump, and saves maintenance costs;
c. Due to the presence of a BOG compressor, the released gas generated during LNG refueling can be vaporized and heated by a vaporizer for recovery, and then compressed and utilized by a compressor, reducing gas emissions and lowering operating costs; Traditional craftsmanship consumes 0.05 kWh of electricity per cubic meter; BOG consumes 0.01 kWh of electricity per cubic meter; The substation consumes 0.04 kWh of electricity per cubic meter; The combination of L-CNG and BOG compressor consumes only 0.02 kWh of electricity per cubic meter, which is a low-cost and long-lasting process;
d. Variable frequency control, low power consumption, and low operating costs
e. The compressor integrates boosting, reheating, recovery, and sequence control into one device, and the three functions are completed by one device. The number of station equipment is reduced, but the functions are increased, and the station layout is more concise, which can effectively reduce the safety distance between equipment and building facilities inside and outside the station.
f. The inlet pressure range of the compressor is very wide, which not only allows for partial gas recovery, but also has the function of a substation. When the station's response is insufficient or the conversion income is lower than that of the parent station, it can be directly connected to the compressor through a trailer, ensuring the profitability of the entire station.
g. The PLC remote service management system can remotely observe, analyze, guide operation, and maintain the operating data of the customer's equipment through the data bus and the Internet; Understand and analyze the working status of the compressor, provide timely suggestions for equipment maintenance and upkeep to customers, quickly and efficiently assist customers in solving equipment problems, and reduce equipment failure rates.
