    The Doppler flowmeter is a hydrological measurement instrument that integrates multiple technical ideas such as acoustic Doppler effect, static water pressure measurement, and temperature correction compensation. It can simultaneously measure hydrological elements such as flow velocity, water level, water temperature, and flow rate of fluids. It is versatile and greatly reduces procurement and maintenance costs in practical project applications, optimizing the system structure of hydrological online monitoring projects.
    The water flow velocity is affected by "water depth, water flow pattern, and riverbed pattern", and the water flow velocity varies at different depths. However, the Doppler flowmeter can be deployed underwater and installed in different water layers. According to its "installation method and measurement principle", it can measure the water flow velocity of multiple water layers, making the measurement results of water flow velocity more representative and effectively solving the typical problem of "a single measurement of water surface velocity is difficult to reflect the overall water flow velocity". Even if the water surface is calm, measurement can still be achieved through internal movement of the water body.
    In addition, sound waves propagate stably in water bodies and are suitable for installation in "turbid, high sediment content, or polluted" water bodies, greatly reducing the dependence of flow velocity measurement instruments on water quality.     [Working principle]:
    The Doppler flowmeter is based on the "acoustic Doppler effect". The Doppler flowmeter emits high-frequency sound waves to the fluid and receives scattered sound waves caused by "bubbles/particles/suspended solids" in different water layers. The measurement circuit processes and measures the Doppler frequency shift to calculate the flow velocity of the water body.
    At the same time, the Doppler flowmeter uses the static pressure principle to measure the water level of the water body, and combines it with the "cross-sectional information" of the water body to obtain hydrological data such as "instantaneous flow rate" and "cumulative flow rate" through internal professional programs.

    The Doppler flowmeter should be installed horizontally in the channel below 20cm of the commonly used water level, avoiding sedimentation and water plants, and avoiding stagnant water areas on the shore as much as possible.
    The installation direction of the Doppler flowmeter is the upstream direction.
    The breathable tube of the sensor cable needs to be exposed, and the cable cannot be bent to ensure the accuracy of water level measurement.
    [Pre use configuration information]:
    The installation height of the Doppler flowmeter (the distance between the sensor installation position and the bottom of the water) needs to be pre-set to facilitate the calculation of the true water level height by the program after the Doppler flowmeter measures the water level data.
    It is necessary to pre-set the "cross-sectional information" of the water body, and the equipment can calculate the "flow cross-sectional area" of the fluid based on the measured "current water level" to calculate the flow rate value.
    Pre set high and low "filtering limits" for water level and flow rate measurement data are required, and data exceeding the limit will not be included in numerical calculations.
    The filtering frequency needs to be pre-set (default 20 times, set range 20-120), and the internal program of the device compares the filtering frequency with multiple valid data measured in the past to ensure the accuracy and stability of the final measured data.
