      Before starting the measurement, place RAD7 in a dry, radon free atmosphere to clean the instrument's gas path for a period of time. During the cleaning process, use a large laboratory drying cylinder. And small drying rods are used for actual measurement. Connect a filter to the intake port of RAD7 first (refer to RAD7 operation manual),

      Then connect the large drying cylinder to the filter. After cleaning the RAD7 air path in clean and dry air for 10 minutes, press[MENU] (Menu) key, then press twice[ENTER] (Enter the status window with the confirm button and press the right arrow key twice to check the relative humidity. If the relative humidity has not decreased to 6%, clean it for a period of time. In order to achieve effective drying, after the next 10 minutes of air path cleaning, connect the outlet of RAD7 to the inlet end of the drying cylinder to form a closed-loop circuit. This can continuously dry RAD7 without introducing fresh air.

      If RAD7 has not been used for a period of time, or if the rubber hose connecting the air inlet and outlet has been disconnected, it will take longer for the air path to dry, at least 30 minutes or more. Once the drying process is completed, the air path cleaning during each measurement process only takes 10 minutes.
