    Description :

The apparent quality defects of the anti-corrosion coating of 3PE anti-corrosion steel pipes can be summarized as being caused by the unilateral or combined effects of the following three factors: pre-treatment, production process, and raw materials. The surface of the anti-corrosion layer is pockmarked, resulting in hemispherical or semi elliptical bulges with a diameter of about 1mm on the surface of the anti-corrosion layer. The distribution of bulges presents uneven and random characteristics. Serious impact on the apparent quality of the anti-corrosion coating of the finished product. There are two reasons for the analysis of the generation: Firstly, the PE raw material contains trace amounts of low molecular weight substances that can expand in volume at high temperatures, such as air, water, solvents, or low molecular weight volatiles. During the plasticization and extrusion process, these low molecular weight substances expand in volume due to heat, but are limited by the steric hindrance effect of the extruder and forming film mouth, and are difficult to release within the material volume. Once the film mouth is extruded, the volume immediately expands, but it is only in trace amounts, and the expansion stress generated is not enough to damage the PE layer surrounding it, otherwise it will form surface pits. Due to its expansion speed being greater than the extrusion speed, its expansion stress is completely released before it completely leaves the membrane opening, resulting in a hemispherical or semi elliptical bulge shape. Due to the random and uneven distribution of low molecular weight substances in the material, the formed bulges also exhibit random and uneven distribution.
