Description :
Due to the use of profile carbon spring steel wire with element composition ratios consistent with the finished reinforced steel shot as raw material, the density and element ratio of the reinforced steel shot are highly consistent, and the hardness deviation is relatively small; Due to the production process of reinforced steel balls being: material selection → wire drawing → cutting → screening → detection → storage, or: material selection → wire drawing → cutting → surface rounding strengthening → screening → detection → storage. Therefore, the obtained reinforced steel shot will not exhibit hollow or surface cracks, with small differences in surface shape, high surface strength, and good durability. The reinforced steel shot provided by this invention is particularly suitable for surface treatment of workpieces.
The chemical composition of the reinforced steel shot is carbon 0.75-0.80%, manganese 0.48-0.58%, silicon 0.22-0.26%, sulfur 0.001-0.006%, phosphorus 0.011-0.015%, and the balance is iron and inevitable impurities. The carbon spring steel wire is used as the production raw material, with a hardness range of 640 ± 50 Vickers hardness. Wire drawing refers to the process of drawing carbon spring steel wire into cylindrical steel wires of different specifications between 0.2-3 millimeters by performing 3-5 wire drawing cycles on raw materials according to product specifications; Cutting refers to using a wire cutter to cut cylindrical steel wire into small cylindrical sections of uniform length, with a cutting length that is consistent with the diameter of the cylindrical steel wire. The cutting section should be flat, free of burrs, and without trailing. Surface strengthening refers to the use of strengthening equipment to perform impact strengthening on cylindrical sections. The strengthening equipment shoots the cylindrical section at a speed of 60-100 meters per second, and after a distance of 30-80 meters, it impacts the wall inside the strengthening chamber. The strengthening shape and hardness are controlled according to the different repeated impact strengthening times.
