The weld seam is full and smooth, without defects such as porosity, virtual welding, missed welding, undercutting, etc. Repair polishing is the process of repairing defects at both ends of automatically welded steel pipes. The repair personnel should inspect each piece and repair any defective areas. After the repair welding is completed, they should then perform grinding, and the grinding joints should be basically the same as those of automatic welds.
