      One Purpose:

      The YXFC-4 inflatable box is a device designed specifically for inflating the gas cylinders of self-contained positive pressure air respirators. It can be used to establish centralized inflation stations for fire departments, industrial and mining enterprises, etc., to improve inflation efficiency and prevent accidents during inflation.

      II Structural characteristics:

      The main body of this box is made of 6mm steel plate bent, assembled and welded, and treated with rust prevention and surface baked paint. The box is divided into two parts, the upper part is the operation panel, which gathers pressure gauges and inlet and outlet valves. It adopts dual pressure gauges, and each filling cylinder is equipped with a switch valve on the filling pipeline, which can control the filling process separately. The lower part is the main body of the inflatable box, with 2/4 inflatable high-pressure hoses arranged in parallel, increasing the operating space and complying with the principles of ergonomics; 2/4 pipes are made of PVC plastic pipes, which are wear-resistant, corrosion-resistant, and protect the surface of the gas cylinder; The overall appearance of the machine is beautiful, safe and sturdy, with simple and convenient operation.

      4 Usage:

      Before normal use, close 2/4 of the inflation switch valves on the explosion-proof inflation box operation panel, then open the box door, insert the gas cylinder into the box along the workstation pipeline, align the cylinder mouth with the inflation joint, turn the handwheel clockwise until it is tightened (note: it must be tightened), install the gas cylinder, and then open the gas cylinder valve and close the box door. Then close the panel vent valve clockwise and slowly open the inflation switch valve on the explosion-proof box panel counterclockwise (if only one gas cylinder is being charged at a time, simply open the corresponding switch valve for that cylinder, and keep the others closed). Start the air compressor to inflate the gas cylinder.

      Observe the normal pressure reading above the explosion-proof inflation box. When the pressure gauge reading reaches 33MPa, the air compressor will automatically release pressure or stop running. Close the inflation switch valve on the explosion-proof box panel clockwise, open the box door, close all gas cylinder valves, open the inflation joint pressure relief valve, and counterclockwise open the exhaust valve on the explosion-proof inflation box panel. When the pressure gauge reading above the explosion-proof inflation box is zero, turn the handwheel counterclockwise one by one until the inflation joint is removed from the cylinder valve. Take out the gas cylinder from the box and place it on the gas cylinder rack along the gas cylinder pipeline

      Gas cylinder airtightness inspection is required. After the cylinder cools down, immerse the valve part of the cylinder into a water tank for inspection.

      Five Maintenance and upkeep precautions:

      Before inflating, it is necessary to carefully check the water pressure test date on the gas cylinder. According to relevant national regulations, air breathing apparatus gas cylinders should undergo a water pressure test every three years. Gas cylinders that exceed the test date must not be inflated and must be sent to the gas cylinder manufacturer or a pressure vessel inspection agency authorized by the Ministry of Labor for re inspection in accordance with pressure vessel specifications before they can be inflated. The pressure gauge on the box must be sent to the national metrology and inspection agency for inspection once a year.

      This machine is equipped with four pressure gauges. Due to differences in its structure and accuracy, there may be deviations in the displayed values of the two gauges. If the deviation is within the range of 1.2MPa, it is considered normal. Otherwise, please call our company: before inflating, check whether the threaded joints of the inflation box are loose. If there is any looseness, tighten them with a wrench. It is strictly prohibited to open the inflation box door without authorization during the inflation process to ensure safety.

      At the end of inflation, before opening the box door, the inflation switch valve on the operation panel must be closed, then the box door must be opened, the gas cylinder valve must be closed, and then the inflation switch pressure relief valve must be opened to empty the remaining gas in the high-pressure hose before removing the inflation joint. Otherwise, the handwheel gas cylinder valve cannot be unscrewed.

      During the inflation process, sometimes the pressure cannot rise, which can be found from the following reasons:

      Does the output pressure of the compressor meet the requirements (less than 33MPa)

      Are all valves of the compressor not closed

      Is the intake valve of the inflation box open and the exhaust valve closed

      Is there any leakage in the inflatable high-pressure hose

      Is the connection between the inflation joint and the bottle valve secure

      Solution:

      Debugging the compressor

      Close all exhaust ports of the compressor

      Open the intake valve and close the exhaust valve

      Apply soapy water to the connection of the high-pressure hose to identify the leak. If the hose ruptures, replace it with a spare part; If there is a leakage at the thread, it is a seal failure and the gasket should be replaced.

      Check the appearance of the O-ring for damage and replace it with spare parts; Check if the handwheel thread is damaged. If it is damaged, please call our company.

      Inflatable high-pressure rubber hoses (including those connected to compressors) sometimes have a "bulging" phenomenon on the surface of the hose, that is, bubbles appear on the surface of the hose, which is a normal phenomenon. Due to the slow penetration of high-pressure gas from the inner rubber layer to the outer rubber layer of the hose, it will not affect the inflation process. But if the surface of the high-pressure hose has ruptured, it cannot be used anymore and needs to be replaced.
