This product can be used as H-grade insulation paint, high-temperature release agent, especially formulated as high-temperature resistant coating, widely used in aviation, aerospace, automotive, chemical and other industrial fields. Precautions
(1) Dilution solvent and safety
If solvent dilution is required for SH-9601 silicone resin during use, it can generally be done with solvent gasoline or solvent gasoline. When using solvent gasoline, attention must be paid to whether it can dissolve well into a solution. If the solvent used contains impurities such as water, sulfur-containing compounds, pyridine, etc., it will affect the adhesion and dryness of the silicone resin; And during the application of the second and third coats of paint, the paint film may have defects such as discoloration, edge shrinkage, blackening of the metal, and affect the storage time of the silicone resin.
Both solvents are flammable, so silicone resin should be strictly protected against fire during transportation, storage, and use. It should not be close to open flames. Ventilation must be strengthened in the construction site to reduce the concentration of solvent vapor. Drying equipment such as ovens must have a blower device to prevent solvent vapor from accumulating in the oven and reaching the explosive limit. If an oven without a blower device is used, the drying time at room temperature must be extended to allow the solvent to fully evaporate before entering the oven.
(2) Lead and its salts have a accelerating curing effect on silicone resin. Containers containing silicone resin should prevent soldering (lead in solder), otherwise the resin is prone to thickening and bonding during storage. During use, other substances such as pigments and fillers should also be prevented from introducing lead and its salt impurities. Alkali also has a strong accelerating curing effect on silicone resin and affects its heat resistance and electrical properties. Therefore, the substances in contact with silicone resin must be neutral, otherwise it will cause the resin to deteriorate.
(3) During the processing of silicone resin, it is necessary to be careful not to mix it with other resins, otherwise it will affect its original properties and even cause the silicone resin to be difficult to dry. The oven used for baking silicone products must be dedicated and cannot be baked simultaneously or sequentially with other resins, as at the construction temperature of silicone, other resins may have already begun to decompose and emit gases, making it difficult for the silicone resin to dry.
(4) In order to obtain moisture resistance, insulation, solvent resistance, chemical resistance, corrosion resistance, heat resistance, as well as sufficient film hardness and adhesion, SH-9601 silicone resin is dried at 180 ℃ for 1 hour.
