This mixture is ready for impregnation, casting, or coating. After 2-4 hours of initial curing, it is basically stable after 3-7 days. 　　1. The dosage of catalysts and crosslinking agents has little effect on the properties of vulcanized rubber, but has a significant effect on the speed of the vulcanization process. The larger the dosage, the faster the vulcanization rate.

　　2. The adhesive material containing catalyst and crosslinking agent should be used up within 1-2 hours at room temperature. Therefore, it needs to be prepared as needed according to the dosage.

The surface of the workpiece in contact with the adhesive must be purified (wiped clean with or benzene, and then air dried), otherwise it will affect the bonding strength between the adhesive and the workpiece. If necessary, a surface treatment agent (such as 10% solvent of methyltriacetoxysilane in dichloromethane) can be applied to increase the bonding strength.

If bubbles are found to be mixed in during the preparation of the adhesive material, evacuate and remove them; If the surface becomes sticky for a long time (without sulfurization at the bottom), slightly more ethyl orthosilicate can overcome it during preparation; After strong sealing, if the same deep part is not easily vulcanized, or even if it is not vulcanized for a long time, it can be solved by adding 0.4 parts of water to every 100 parts of the rubber material during preparation.

　　5. Ethyl orthosilicate used as a crosslinking agent is prone to moisture and deterioration, and should be stored in a sealed container. If it becomes turbid, it is not suitable for use. Dibutyltin silicate used as a catalyst will condense at low temperatures and must be dissolved in a warm water bath before use.
