Soybean meal is a plant-based protein feed prepared from soybeans by low-temperature pre pressing extraction method to extract oil. It is widely used and applied in China, not only in animal feed, but also in aquatic and special animal feed.
The simplified process of soybean meal is as follows: soybean cleaning → shaping → heat treatment such as steaming and drying → pre pressing → crushing → leaching → wet meal steaming and drying → cooling → soybean meal.
