Handheld ship exhaust analyzer UV portable smoke analyzer is a handheld analytical instrument used for rapid detection of ship exhaust. Using the fast principle of DOAS ultraviolet differential absorption spectroscopy, the gas components such as SO2/NO/NOX in ship exhaust are measured by thermal wet method, and the gas components such as O2/CO/CO2/H2S are measured by fixed potential electrolysis method, which is particularly suitable for measuring harmful gas components in high CO, high humidity, low SO2, and ship exhaust.
The instrument can be used for on-site ship exhaust gas detection and law enforcement, with advantages such as high measurement accuracy, strong reliability, fast response time, and long service life. The on-site humidity of the instrument is high, especially the interference caused by high concentration of dioxide. Conventional instruments cannot detect the concentration of dioxide, so this instrument can be used.
With the continuous increase in the number of ocean (inland) transport ships, the pollution caused by the emission of ship exhaust to the atmosphere and water bodies is becoming increasingly serious. The exhaust emissions from ship internal combustion engines are mainly composed of dioxide and nitrogen oxides. According to the International Maritime Organization, a series of ship pollution prevention conventions have been formulated to limit the emission of ship exhaust and regulate the use of fuel, strengthening the protection of the atmospheric and marine ecological environment.
