      After the installation of the work film, it should be naturally relaxed and firmly attached to the applicable layer, without detachable pleats or hanging folding. Carry out inspections on the surface of the construction project, remove the blocks of non-woven geotextile that will be punctured, and try to avoid walking or transporting small tools on the membrane surface as much as possible. Any item that can seriously harm the geomembrane should not be placed on or carried around the geomembrane to prevent accidental damage to the membrane.

      When splicing geomembranes, the hot melt welding method is used to weld the joints with a climbing welding machine, usually at a high temperature of 200 degrees Celsius. Then, the joints of the geomembranes are pressed together to weld the composite geomembranes together. During the construction process, due to the extremely high temperature of the climbing welding machine, it is inevitable that the composite geomembrane will be burned out. A dedicated person should be responsible for repairing the damaged parts, usually using strong adhesive to complete the repair.

      The welding of HDPE geomembrane should be carried out using a dual track hot melt welding machine, while extrusion welding is only used for repair, covering, or areas that cannot be reached by hot melt welding machines. During welding, the upper, lower, left, and right surfaces of the composite bag steel reinforcement overlap should be separated from the geotechnical industry. The steel reinforcement overlap surface should not have stains, gravel, soil, water (including dew drops), etc. The total overlap width of geotextile reinforcement should exceed 15cm, and it is convenient for slightly thicker geotextile plates. The total overlap width of weld reinforcement should not be less than 5cm. It is usually specified that the temperature during hot melt welding is 280-300 ℃, and the driving speed is 2-3m/min. Non woven geotextiles can use natural steel reinforcement lap joints, seam joints, and other steel reinforcement lap joints.
