RAP flexible crushing and screening "3-step method":
1. First level single roll flexible separation
The crushing roller of the single roll primary crusher works in conjunction with the hydraulic driven pushing device, resulting in high crushing efficiency. Low speed combined with a movable buffer plate can achieve flexible separation. The wear-resistant parts on the crushing roller adopt the standard cutting head of the milling machine, which has good wear resistance and is easy to replace.
2. Grading system
The high-frequency vibration motor is used as the driving force motor to drive the screen mesh to vibrate (the screen body does not move), solving the problem of RAP material blockage below 4.75mm and achieving high-speed tapping of materials. This structure combines the conventional vibrating screen and vibrating screen into one, and one vibrating screen can separate three types of materials, reducing equipment occupation and saving costs.
3. Secondary roller type flexible separation
The double roll secondary crusher is equipped with two sets of crushing rollers arranged in a cross pattern. One of the crushing rollers is equipped with a spring tensioning device, which can adjust the gap between the crushing rollers to achieve the adjustment of material particle size and output after crushing. Compared with hammer crushing and impact crushing, roller crushing causes less damage to the gradation of RAP raw aggregates. The roller speed is low and the crushing method has minimal impact, greatly extending the service life of the equipment. At the same time, there is almost no dust generated during on-site work.







Recycling Asphalt Pavement (RAP) is a technology that involves excavating or milling asphalt pavement, recycling old materials, crushing and screening them, adding new aggregates, asphalt, and rejuvenators, and mixing them again to obtain a recycled asphalt mixture that meets the performance requirements for highway use. This mixture is then used for paving road surface layers or base layers. By reusing asphalt and gravel in road surface materials, maximizing resource utilization and protecting the environment, it is the most economically valuable and socially beneficial modern environmental protection technology. The normal process of reusing recycled materials requires crushing and screening before reuse. The grading of recycled materials usually needs to be classified into 20mm-10mm, 10mm-5mm, and below 5mm according to requirements. Especially for asphalt milling materials below 5mm, they can be used for the regeneration of asphalt pavement surface layers and have special economic value.
The commonly used method for regenerating asphalt is to use a hammer to break and disperse the recycled asphalt. A circular vibrating screen or a linear vibrating screen is used to divide the recycled asphalt into various specifications such as 0-5mm, 50mm-10mm, and 10mm-20mm. Then, new aggregates, asphalt, and rejuvenators are added in proportion after measurement. Hot mix regeneration or cold mix regeneration technology is used to obtain asphalt mixtures that can be used for road paving, achieving the recycling of asphalt recycled materials. However, this plan has the following problems: 1. Due to the use of hammer breaking technology, the main purpose is to disperse the asphalt recycled material, and the surface of the recycled coarse and fine aggregates is coated with asphalt. The recycled aggregates can only be used as aggregates for asphalt mixtures; 2. The traditional methods of regeneration technology, screening technology, and crushing technology are crude and have not fully utilized the economic value of asphalt recycled materials to achieve high-quality regeneration of asphalt recycled materials.
