New Year Agent PPA Product Usage Amodel® AT-1116 HS Polyphthalamide (PPA) is a toughened, thermally stable 16% glass fiber reinforced resin designed to provide an economical solution for applications that require rigidity, good dimensional stability, chemical resistance, and ductility. This resin has a higher thermal deformation temperature and flexural modulus, and has a greater tensile elongation than PPA reinforced with un toughened glass fibers. Typical applications include bearings, bearing cages/retainers, housings, chemical processing equipment components, motor frames, sports equipment, lawn and gardening equipment, and components that require press fit or snap fit.
