  • Description :

Ultramid® ONE J60X1 V35 Natural High Temperature Nylon is a high-temperature polyamide based on a non halogenated flame retardant system, reinforced with 30% glass fiber, and has excellent fire resistance. It is used for injection molding. UL94 V0 rated at 0.4 mm, with thermal aging performance (150 ° C electrical RTI - relative thermal aging)index), as well as excellent electrical performance, including a high comparative tracking index (CTI 0 represents 600 volts and above). Compared with traditional high-performance plastics, this product has superior electrical performance. Its low corrosiveness ensures the service life of the processing tools. This technology is suitable for laser welding. This product is based on a high liquidity matrix, providing strong advantages in productivity and design freedom.

PA6T, also known as poly (p-phenylene terephthalamide), was originallyMitsui Chemicals, Inc., JapanARLEN has developed a heat-resistant nylon 6T/66, which is a copolymer of PA6TPA6T and PA66. Foreign name: nylon6T

BASF PA6T material is supplied in sealed bags and is ready for use at any time. If the raw materials absorb moisture, they must be dried using dehumidified air drying equipment. Suggested drying time is 2-4 hours.

Injection recommendation: All reinforcing and flame-retardant compounds cause a certain degree of wear/corrosion to steel processing equipment. These issues may be amplified during the molding process due to the use of incorrect processing conditions (temperature, residence time, humidity, etc.). Therefore, BASF SE recommends that you comply with the processing conditions and technical data sheets detailed in this manual. For equipment that comes into contact with molten flame retardant compounds, BASF SE recommends using steel with high chromium and carbon content (chromium concentration of at least 16%) to prevent corrosion and wear. For the correct reference of steel related to the processing of flame retardant compounds, please consult the equipment manufacturer. When the surface quality requirements are high, the mold temperature can be considered as high as 120 ° C.

      Characteristics of BASF PA6T:

High heat resistance:Ultramid® ONEThe series maintains a high melting point of 320 ° C and has good fluidity during the molding process.

Low water absorption rate:The reason for the high water absorption rate of polyamide is that water molecules are hydrogen bonded to the amide group in the molecular structure. By reducing the concentration of amide groups that cause water absorption,Ultramid® ONEThe water absorption is one-third lower than PA46.

High mechanical strength:Due to the rigid aromatic rings and low water absorption in the molecular chain,Ultramid® ONE seriesObtained excellent mechanical strength.

Chemical resistance:It has the ultimate chemical resistance among all polyamides.

High temperature rigidity:Due to the high glass transition temperature (125 ° C), high rigidity can be maintained even in high-temperature environments, such as in the cabin.

PA6T Application: Compatible with SMT electronic parts such as connectors, sockets and switches, automotive parts, automotive electrical parts, cylinder head covers, thermal protection boxes and other cabin parts
