　　Lingke rod, also known as brake rod, insulation rod, and insulation pull rod, consists of three parts: working head, insulation rod, and handle. It is used for closing or opening high-voltage isolation switches, installing and removing portable grounding wires, and conducting measurements and tests. The Kolida brand Lingke rod is mainly used as an insulation tool for short-term operation of live equipment, such as connecting or disconnecting high-voltage isolation switches, dropping fuses, installing and disassembling portable grounding wires, and for measurement and testing.

　　When operating electrical equipment outdoors on rainy days, the insulation part of the insulated operating rod should have a rain cover, and the upper opening of the cover should be tightly connected to the insulation part without leakage, in order to block the flowing rainwater and prevent it from forming a continuous water column, greatly reducing the wet flashover voltage.

　　When using insulated operating rods to operate outdoor high-voltage equipment on rainy days, insulated boots should be worn.

　　3. Insulated operating rods should undergo a power frequency withstand voltage test once a year, and those that fail are strictly prohibited from use.
