Notes:
1. Before use, select a voltage tester suitable for the rated voltage level of the tested electrical equipment;
2. Before conducting an electrical inspection, a self check test should be carried out on the electrical tester. At the same time, the self checking conductive metal switch and the electric shock probe must be held down. If the electric shock indicator emits intermittent oscillation sound and light signals, it proves that the performance of the electric shock tester is intact, and the electric shock can be carried out. At this time, the insulation rod can be continuously extended and unfolded to perform the electric shock operation. The hand cannot exceed the black handle, and the contact of the electric shock tester should touch the charged body of the grade to emit intermittent sound and light signals indicating that there is electricity. Otherwise, it indicates that there is no electricity;
3. Replace the battery. Unscrew the connection between the voltage tester head and the rod, and use a screwdriver to unscrew the copper screw at the connection between the voltage tester head and the rod to replace the battery. This product's circuit operates in electronic automatic shutdown mode, with long-term standby. It opens when there is a signal input and automatically shuts down when there is no signal. It has low power consumption and does not require frequent battery replacement. So we use 4 Ag13 silver oxide batteries with a voltage of 6V. We will consider replacing the batteries when the self-test cannot produce sound and light signals;
4. To ensure the safety of personnel and equipment, please conduct regular preventive tests in accordance with electrical safety regulations. According to the "Electricity Safety Work Regulations", the electrical tester should follow the electricity safety work regulations when conducting electricity inspections on electrical equipment. Before preventive testing, a visual inspection should be conducted. When obvious defects such as defects in the casing of the electrical indicator and cracks in the insulation rod are found, preventive testing should not be carried out and should be promptly sent for replacement.
5. The connection of each part of the voltage tester should be firm and reliable, the indicator should be sealed well, the surface should be smooth and flat, and the markings on the indicator should be complete. The inner and outer surfaces of the insulating rod should be clean, smooth, and free of scratches and hard injuries.
6. When conducting electrical testing, contact type testers of the corresponding level should be used to test the electrical performance of each phase separately at the device grounding wire or the closed grounding knife switch. Before conducting electrical testing, a test should be conducted on the electrical equipment to confirm that the tester is in good condition. If it is not possible to conduct the test on the electrical equipment, a high-voltage generator can be used to confirm that the tester is in good condition.
7. Insulated gloves should be worn for high-voltage electrical testing. The insulation rod of the voltage tester should be fully extended, and the hand should be held at the handle during voltage testing, not exceeding the black handle. The human body should maintain a safe distance from the voltage tester;
8. For equipment that cannot undergo direct electrical testing, indirect electrical testing can be performed. Check the mechanical indication position, electrical indication, instrument and point display device indication changes of the isolation switch (knife switch), and at least two or more indications should have corresponding changes at the same time. If remote control operation is carried out, the status indication, telemetry, remote signaling signal and point display device indication of the isolation switch should be checked simultaneously for indirect electrical verification.
