　　During the construction of various steel structure line bridges, rolling supports need to be installed at the lower parts of both ends to remove the shrinkage and expansion caused by cold and heat and the deflection caused by load, in order to protect the components of the line bridge from damage. For ultra long span suspended wire bridge projects, large-span spatial structures are more sensitive to seismic loads, so rolling bearings with seismic damping effects are required.

　　Precautions for Rolling Bearings

　　1. The second shaft in the rolling support is movable and may move during transportation due to bumps, loading and unloading. Please use tapping or pushing to return the second shaft to the center position of the hole during installation.

　　2. The lubricating oil applied to the surface of the rolling support shaft before leaving the factory, please remove the plastic film attached to the shaft after installation.

　　3. Before leaving the factory, the support is fixed with four vertical plates 6 and 3. After the upper structure is installed, please remove the four vertical plates to avoid affecting the rolling of the support.

　　Difference between rolling bearings and sliding bearings

　　Rolling support, as the name suggests, refers to a steel pipe or cylindrical support at the support point, on which the beam is placed and relatively adjustable for larger displacement;

　　Sliding support is a type of support that is placed on the support pad but not fixed, and can be adjusted for displacement due to thermal expansion and contraction, with a relatively small adjustment amount;

　　Corresponding to the previous two types is a fixed support, which means that the beam and support are fixed and not allowed to move.
