Description :
Lead core bearings belong to seismic isolation bearings. It is to insert a lead core at the center of a regular laminated rubber bearing to improve the damping performance of the rubber bearing. Lead core supports can not only withstand the gravity and horizontal forces of the structure, but also absorb energy through the plastic deformation of hysteresis damping generated by the lead core, and can provide horizontal restoring force through rubber.
Lead core support structure: composed of upper connecting plate, upper sealing plate, lead core, multi-layer rubber, reinforced steel plate, protective layer rubber, lower sealing plate, and lower connecting plate. Multi layer rubber and reinforced steel plates form a multi-layer rubber support that bears the weight and horizontal displacement of the building. When the lead core undergoes shear deformation in the multi-layer rubber support, it absorbs energy through plastic deformation. After an earthquake, the lead core undergoes dynamic recovery and recrystallization processes, as well as the shear tension of the rubber, and the building automatically returns to its original position. Corresponding to the requirements of different lead cores and bridges, seismic isolation rubber bearings can have different laminated structures, manufacturing processes, and formula designs to meet the required performance requirements such as vertical stiffness, lateral deformation, damping, durability, overturning and lifting.
Installation process and instructions for seismic isolation bearings in new buildings
Support installation
(1) Reserved installation space
Usually, the steel bars used for installing building isolation rubber bearing column heads are relatively dense. In the design and binding of steel bars, attention should be paid to leaving space for the installation of pre embedded anchor bars (sleeves). The reserved space for the installation of pre embedded anchor bars (sleeves) should be reserved according to the installation drawing provided by the bearing design manufacturer. The length of the pre embedded steel bars (sleeves) should meet the requirements of the standard structural design and penetrate deep into the interior of the steel cage.
(2) Installation of pre embedded components
1) The pre embedded components include sleeves, anchor bars, and pre embedded steel plates. The three are temporarily fixed by connecting bolts through supports.
2) Use a level to measure the elevation position of the embedded steel plate. Insert the sleeve and anchor bar (already compensated internally by our company) into the corresponding holes of the embedded steel plate, pre tighten them with bolts, adjust the elevation and flatness of the steel plate using wedge-shaped wooden blocks, spot weld the sleeve to the main reinforcement of the lower component with the steel bar head, extract the wedge block for secondary review of the steel plate elevation, and check the flatness with a level ruler. After passing the inspection, tighten the bolts and weld the steel bar head firmly.
3) After the assembly and positioning are completed, protect the pre embedded plate to prevent contamination of bolt threads during pouring and corrosion of the surface of the mortar pre embedded plate
