      GD fixed spherical bearing is a new type of bridge bearing developed on the basis of pot type rubber bearings. Spherical bearings can be divided into fixed bearings, one-way movable bearings, and multi-directional movable bearings. Due to the use of rubber pressure bearing for spherical bearings, there are no adverse effects such as rubber hardening or aging, making them particularly suitable for low-temperature areas.

      Brief description of dx unidirectional anti pull spherical steel support

      Spherical bearings are a new type of bridge bearing developed on the basis of pot type rubber bearings. Spherical bearings have consistent rotational performance in all directions and are suitable for curved bridges, sloping bridges, inclined bridges, wide bridges, and large-span bridges. Spherical bearings do not have load-bearing rubber blocks and are particularly suitable for low-temperature areas.

      The advantages of spherical bearings are reliable force transmission and consistent rotational performance in all directions. They not only have the characteristics of strong bearing capacity and large horizontal displacement of pot type rubber bearings, but also can adapt to the needs of large turning angles, suitable for wide bridges, slope bridges, curved bridges, etc; Due to the absence of rubber blocks in pressure bearing components, there is no influence such as low-temperature brittleness of rubber, making it particularly suitable for low-temperature areas. It is classified into three types: fixed type (GD type), unidirectional type (DX type), and bidirectional type (SX type). According to its weather resistance performance, it is divided into ordinary type (suitable for -25~+60 ℃) and cold resistance type (suitable for -40~+60 ℃).

      Construction of steel structure tension compression ball joint support

      The spherical bearing consists of a lower bearing concave plate, a crown liner plate, an upper bearing sliding plate, a polytetrafluoroethylene sliding plate (one for each flat and spherical surface), as well as rubber sealing rings and dust covers.

      The crown liner is the core of the spherical support. Its flat part has grooves embedded with PTFE plates to fix the flat PTFE plates.

      The concave plate of the lower support is made of steel plate or casting, mainly used to fix the spherical PTFE plate and disperse and transmit the support reaction force to the bridge pier and abutment.

      Flat PTFE plate and spherical PTFE plate are the main sliding components of the support. A special mold is used to press a silicone grease oil storage pit on the surface of the PTFE plate, and 295 silicone grease is applied to reduce the sliding friction and wear of the PTFE plate. The sliding between the flat PTFE plate and the stainless steel plate of the upper support plate can meet the displacement requirements of the support, and its working principle is consistent with that of the pot type rubber support.

      Installation method of ball joint steel support

      (1) When the support is shipped, the manufacturer should level the support and tighten the connecting bolts to prevent the support from rotating and overturning during transportation and installation. The design of the support requires preset angles and displacements, and the construction unit shall propose the requirements for preset angles and displacements before ordering. The manufacturer pre adjusts it during assembly.

      (2) Before installing the support, the construction unit should open the box and inspect the relevant information of the support and accessories; After opening the box, do not arbitrarily rotate the connecting bolts or disassemble the support components.

      (3) When the support installation adopts bolt connection, adjust the support level around the lower support plate with steel wedges, and make the bottom plate of the lower support 20-50mm higher than the top surface of the bridge pier. Find the center position of the support in the longitudinal and transverse directions of the bridge to meet the design requirements. Use epoxy mortar to fill the foundation bolts and support bottom cushion layer.

      (4) When welding is used for the installation of the support, the support should be accurately positioned first, and then the symmetrical intermittent welding method should be adopted to weld the upper and lower support plates to the pre embedded steel plates of the beam and pier. During welding, care should be taken to prevent burning of the support and concrete.

      (5) The installation height of the support should meet the design requirements, ensuring the levelness and flatness of the support plane. The height difference of the four corners of the support plane should not exceed 2mm.

      (6) After the installation of the beam body is completed, or after the cast-in-place concrete beam body forms a whole and reaches the design strength, the connecting steel plates of the upper and lower supports should be removed before prestressing the beam body to prevent the normal rotation of the restrained beam body.

      (7) After removing the connecting steel plates of the upper and lower supports, check the appearance of the supports for any damage and install the external dust cover of the supports in a timely manner.

      (8) After one year of use, the support should undergo quality inspection, remove debris and dust around the support, and carefully wipe off the dust on the stainless steel surface with cotton thread.
