SY-P14 composite foam adhesive is a modified epoxy single component medium temperature (130 ℃) cured paste like composite foam adhesive, which can be used in the manufacturing of metal honeycomb and non-metal honeycomb load-bearing components. It can be used for a long time at -55~80 ℃ and has been used for local filling and reinforcement of honeycomb cores in aircraft radar antenna covers. It is used in conjunction with SY-24C-300 adhesive film.

[Usage Process]
Surface treatment of the adhered object: 2A12T4 (formerly known as LY12CZ) aluminum alloy bonded parts or test pieces are recommended to be treated with phosphoric acid anodizing surface treatment according to HB/Z197. Aluminum alloy surface treatment can also be achieved by chromic acid anodizing or chromium chemical oxidation. Steel samples or parts can be treated with sandblasting. Composite materials can be polished with sandpaper to a uniform roughness, and dust can be removed with a brush or cleaned. Any metal or non-metal honeycomb core material can undergo corresponding surface cleaning treatment according to process requirements, ensuring no oil pollution.
Adhesive filling: Use a scraper or putty knife to apply adhesive powder to the bonding reinforcement area.
Curing and insulation time and pressure: The bonding pressure is the contact pressure to 0.14MPa, and the heating rate is 1.5 ℃/min~3 ℃/min (recommended). After the temperature rises to 125 ℃± 5 ℃ (part temperature), the insulation time is 2.0h ± 0.5h, and the cooling rate after curing is 1.5 ℃/min~2.0 ℃/min. The specific curing process can be adjusted slightly according to the process of the relevant adhesive components.
Packaging, transportation, and storage
Packaging and transportation: Packaged in sealed iron or plastic drums. According to non dangerous goods transportation, transportation below 4 ℃ should not exceed 10 days or at room temperature should not exceed 5 days. Moisture prevention should be taken into account.
Storage: The foam adhesive should be stored in an environment with a temperature range of -5 ℃ to -18 ℃. The foam adhesive has an effective storage period of 12 months from the production date. Expired foam adhesive can still be used after passing the factory inspection, but the total storage period shall not exceed 24 months. The external exposure time between 4 ℃ and 28 ℃ should not exceed 5 days, and the cumulative external exposure time at room temperature should not exceed 20 days.
