Beer processing equipment
The raw materials for brewing beer include malt, hops, water, and yeast.
Beer is a versatile complex. The brewing process of beer first crushes the sprouted barley in a drum crusher, mixes it with hot water, and rotates it into a wort barrel (a large container made of copper, wood, or stainless steel placed in the brewing workshop). Malt juice is like oatmeal Congee, golden yellow, a little sweet. Firstly, pour the malt extract into a jar, boil it to promote protein breakdown, and then withdraw it back to the malt extract barrel, gradually raising the temperature over a few hours.
Nowadays, many breweries have made some adjustments on the basis of traditional methods, and the malt extract heating process is only carried out in one container, with the difference being that there are more temperature control steps. After the preparation of malt extract is completed, the sweet malt extract is filtered and flows into the brewing tank. It is usually sprayed with hot water to remove the remaining malt extract sediment.
In the brewing tank, boil the malt extract and add hops, usually for one and a half hours to three hours. Then, filter out the hop precipitate, separate the precipitated protein by centrifugation, cool to fermentation temperature, and transfer the malt extract to the primary fermentation tank where a certain amount of fresh yeast is added. In most cases, the fermentation process lasts for five to ten days, and then the "clear" beer is injected into the maturation tank, where it needs to be further purified and aged for one to two weeks. Lager beer usually goes through a longer fermentation period; Two weeks of primary fermentation, two weeks of secondary fermentation, and one to six months of post ripening. Before leaving the brewery, pasteurized beer is filtered, canned, and added with carbon dioxide to become the beer we see.
