Low flatbed semi-trailer has special design requirements for the transportation of large construction machinery such as excavators and loaders. A large amount of research and road testing have been conducted on the load-bearing capacity, safety factor, and resistance level of low flatbed semi trailers, creating a more cost-effective and maintenance free low flatbed semi trailer with three characteristics: light weight, good load-bearing capacity, and more economical. Due to the fact that low flatbed semi trailers are mainly used for the transportation of heavy construction machinery such as excavators and loaders, the main beam is the weak point of low flatbed semi trailers, and the occurrence of beam breakage is not uncommon. This requires the low flatbed semi-trailer not only to have strong vehicle carrying capacity, but also to ensure safe loading and unloading. The main beam adopts a splicing structure technology, with crescent shaped reinforcement plates added on the inner side and reinforcing plates and bars added under the main beam to effectively cope with stress concentration and improve the overall bearing capacity of the main beam. At the same time, the model also adds double-layer reinforcement plates at the weak points of the main beam. The slow transition of the reinforcement plate structure, without sharp bends, makes stress changes gentle and prevents stress concentration points from breaking. Compared with the right angle design, this design can effectively reduce the risk of beam fracture. The reinforcement support is welded onto the vehicle bracket, using a triangular structure with a larger angle for greater stability. The support protects the side beam from collapsing and the bracket from breaking or tilting. The flat part adopts a special coating process as a whole, with extremely high flatness.
