1: Market situation of Kane flue gas analyzer in the UK:

The UK Kane handheld smoke analyzer has KM950/KM945/KM940 and KM905
KM950 is the Chinese version and can detect up to four components. The standard configuration of the probe is 350mm at a temperature of 600 degrees Celsius, and the probe can be extended.

KM940 has now been discontinued, and the new models it replaces are KM945 and KM905. The question is, what is the difference between KM945 and KM905?
On the surface, there is no difference between KM905 and KM945, but the small aspects can still be seen.
1: The screen size of KM945 is 80 * 30mm, but the screen size of KM905 is 75 * 25mm, the difference is very small, but after booting up, the font size can still be seen.
2: After booting up, if you select the components O2, CO, NO, and SO2 for the all-new KM945, these four components will be displayed simultaneously on one page. But for KM905, after booting up, only two components are displayed on one page, and the other two components need to be flipped later. This implies that if you choose the O2 CO NO NO2 configuration, only O2 CO is displayed on one page, and NO and NO2 need to be flipped to view the measurement values.
3. KM905 is configured with O2+CO+X+X, which means that the O2+and CO sensor slots of KM905 are fixed. The configuration of O2+NO+NO2+SO2 is not allowed. But KM945 does not have this regulation. Of course, the two English versions of the model are similar in terms of usage and operation, with the same English interface. For ordinary technicians, operation is not a problem.
The KM945 flue gas analyzer is much more flexible compared to the KM905, without the limitation of CO sensor slots. Users can freely mix and match nitrogen oxide sulfide CO according to their own needs, because for most users who purchase flue gas analyzers, desulfurization and denitrification detection is their ultimate goal when purchasing instruments.
