    Precautions for the use and maintenance of Oxyaby series residual oxygen meters

      The filters, needles, and protective patches of the residual oxygen analyzer series instruments are consumables that must be replaced in a timely manner during use.

      1. When the filter replacement frequency is normal (with a testing frequency of 20 times per day), it usually needs to be replaced every six months

      Do not come into contact with water sources (including steam like water vapor) during normal use. If this situation occurs, it must be replaced.

      2. The needle of the residual oxygen meter is usually replaced once a year. If the needle is damaged, bent, or blunt, it needs to be replaced in a timely manner.

      3. The protective patch is a disposable consumable and cannot be reused.

      4. The needle needs to be threaded down with the accompanying steel wire every few tests. The correct approach is to remove the needle and insert the steel wire from behind the needle.

    Regarding how to determine and handle some special situations:

      1. During the normal use test of the residual oxygen meter, there was a delay in the machine reading response (the reading did not change in the first 5 seconds). Generally, the needle and the filter behind the needle can be replaced first.

      2. Suspect that the residual oxygen meter test is inaccurate. You can go to a ventilated area and conduct the test while ensuring that the needle and filter are unobstructed. The general reading is around 20.9%, with no deviation of 1% above or below, which is considered normal.

      3. Machine calibration is a two-point calibration, namely high and low point sampling calibration. The specific operation method is:

      Firstly, prepare a bottle of standard nitrogen with a purity of no less than 99.9%. Then, press the settings button to select the instrument on the calibration interface.

      The second and first occurrence is the low calibration point (in an environment with oxygen content of "0"). After removing the sampling needle, connect it to nitrogen and press the test button. After hearing a beep, it means the test is complete.

      The third press of the setting button will flip to the calibration interface with a high calibration value of 20.9% oxygen content. The sampling steps in a ventilated area are the same as above.

      

      Practice has proven that the lifespan of instruments and equipment (including technical lifespan) largely depends on the quality of maintenance work. Maintain the residual oxygen meter properly during use, ensuring that it is always in the best working condition, reducing the chance of instrument failure, and making work smoother.
