    Description :

      Zinc coated steel grounding electrode is developed based on foreign technology and produced using a special electroplating process. It has the characteristics of thick zinc layer (above 0.25 millimeters), low resistance, strong corrosion resistance, high strength, easy installation, good electrical connection performance, good adhesion, and no peeling. Its advantages are high tensile strength (up to 600 Newtons per square millimeter), strong corrosion resistance (ensuring a service life of over 30 years), constant low resistance, and good plasticity. It has both the same performance as zinc and the characteristics of steel. The series of products produced by galvanizing process overcome the defects such as poor bonding force of sleeve wrapping method, and can be widely used in grounding devices of power transmission and communication lines, power stations, buildings and antennas. They can also be used in grounding systems of electronic equipment such as computers, and can be combined with lightning arresters (lightning rods, lightning wires) and down conductors to form lightning protection grounding devices.

      Construction requirements for galvanized steel grounding electrode:

      1. Excavate a horizontal grounding ditch with a depth of 0.8 meters and a width of 0.4 meters. Use a hammer or other hammer to vertically drive the galvanized steel grounding electrode into the ground at the bottom of the ditch, leaving a 10cm gap at the upper end of the grounding electrode for welding.

      2. When encountering hard obstacles underground or grounding electrodes that are difficult to penetrate during the construction process, it is necessary to avoid obstacles and find a location that is easy to penetrate for construction.

      3. When laying grounding electrodes, the distance between adjacent grounding electrodes should be at least 4 meters to reduce the shielding effect.

      4. Welding requirements for grounding electrode and horizontal grounding wire: A 20cm long and 1.6cm diameter hot-dip galvanized steel rod is bent 90 degrees in the middle as a connecting piece between the grounding electrode and the horizontal grounding wire. Weld one end of the connector to the reserved part of the galvanized steel grounding electrode, and weld the other end to a horizontal grounding flat steel (or round steel). The overlap length should be more than 8cm, and the welding should be firm and reliable. After welding, thoroughly clean the welding slag, and then apply asphalt or other anti-corrosion materials to the welding area for anti-corrosion treatment.
