    Description :

      Construction technology of cylindrical grounding module engineering

      The quality of the grounding system is largely determined by the quality of construction, so it is necessary to master the correct construction methods and process quality requirements. The construction of grounding engineering should usually follow the following basic principles:

      (1) Within the effective length range, it is recommended to bury grounding bodies in areas with low soil resistivity as much as possible.

      (2) The burial location of the grounding body should be away from heat sources.

      (3) The burial location of the grounding body should avoid places with strong corrosive substances as much as possible.

      (4) The burial location of the grounding body should be as far away as possible from places where people often move, otherwise measures should be taken to prevent step voltage hazards.

      (5) According to the actual needs of the project, grounding modules are generally used for horizontal burial or in any other form suitable for terrain conditions.

      (6) The burial depth of the grounding body should not be less than 0.8 meters, and it is advisable to bury it appropriately if conditions permit.

      (7) The burial spacing of cylindrical vertical grounding bodies should be less than 5 meters. At the bottom of the horizontal grounding ditch, manual excavation or mechanical drilling should be used, with a diameter of not less than 15 centimeters and a depth of 1 meter. Place the grounding module vertically in the hole and weld the upper metal core to the horizontal grounding flat steel.

      (8) The same corrosion-resistant metal material must be used to ensure the electrical connection of the buried part of the grounding system is firm and reliable through welding. Overlap welding should be used, and the overlap length should not be less than twice the width of the flat steel or six times the diameter of the round steel, and should be multi sided welding. It is recommended that the length of the weld seam be no less than 100mm. There should be no virtual welding or missed welding.

      (9) Careful removal of welding slag is required, and asphalt or other anti-corrosion materials should be applied to the welding area for proper anti-corrosion treatment.

      (10) When backfilling with original soil or fine clay, at least 30-50cm of fine soil should be ensured around the grounding body, and appropriate watering should be carried out to fully implement it.

      In the formula: n is the number of grounding modules.

      ρ - Soil resistivity.

      M - module grounding coefficient, with a value range of 0.12~0.16. The larger the soil resistivity ρ, the smaller the value of M.

      Rn - Grounding resistance value of the grounding network design.

      K - Utilization coefficient, with a value range of 0.7~0.85. The more modules there are, the smaller the value of K.
