　　1. KPD seriesPlatform carIt is a 36V single-phase (three-phase) low-voltage track powered electric flatcar, powered by track sliding contact lines. The ground step-down transformer control cabinet steps down the single-phase (three-phase) AC 380V to single-phase (three-phase) 36V, feeds it to the flat car through the track sliding contact line, and then steps it up to single-phase (three-phase) AC 380V through the onboard step-up transformer. It provides power to the flat car's single-phase capacitor motor (YZ lifting and metallurgical motor in three-phase). Due to the absence of cables, it is safe and reliable, not afraid of scalding or smashing, does not hinder cross transportation, and is easy to achieve control and automation, providing great convenience for transportation layout in the factory area.

　　2. However, the construction requirements for platform car tracks are relatively high, and it is necessary to ensure track insulation. When the running distance exceeds a certain limit, copper bar compensation lines should be added to the track. When the operating distance is long, it is necessary to increase the number of step-down transformers. Due to the extremely high starting current (up to 1000A) flowing through the track when starting the KPD electric flatcar, there is a significant voltage drop at the end of the track, which makes it difficult to start the single-phase capacitor motor. Therefore, the single-phase KPD flatcar has a large load capacity of 50 tons, and when the load capacity is above 50 tons, a three-phase 36V low-voltage track power supply is used for YZ lifting and metallurgical motors.
