　　A new product of 7-ton overhead electric locomotive, with two power supply voltages of 250V and 550V, and a reduction gearbox with dual stage gear transmission of cone and cylinder. It has the characteristics of thick side panels, good rigidity, long service life of gears, strong traction, and fast speed. Due to the use of V-shaped rubber shock absorbers, it has good buffering, shock absorption, noise reduction performance, and good power passing performance in small bends.

　　Principle of 7-ton overhead electric locomotive

　　The working process of overhead electric locomotives involves the high-voltage AC power being reduced and rectified by the traction converter, with the positive pole connected to the overhead line and the negative pole connected to the railway track. The pantograph on the locomotive comes into contact with the overhead line, introducing current into the car, and then entering the traction motor through the air automatic switch, controller, and resistance box to drive the motor to operate. The electric motor drives the wheels to rotate through the transmission device, thereby pulling the train to travel. The current flowing out of the electric motor flows back to the substation through the track.
