　　XJK floatation machine

　　XJK type flotation machine: XJK type (also known as A type, XJ type) flotation machine, also known as mining mechanical agitation flotation machine, belongs to an air self-priming mechanical agitation flotation machine with a radiating impeller, widely used in the rough selection, selection and reverse flotation operations of non-ferrous metals such as copper, lead, zinc, nickel, molybdenum, gold, black metals and non metallic minerals.

　　Structure and working principle of XJK flotation machine:

　　The XJK flotation machine forms a unit with every two tanks. The first tank is equipped with a slurry inlet pipe to suction the slurry, which is called a suction tank, and the second tank is a self flowing or direct flow tank. There is an intermediate chamber between tank one and tank two, and the slurry is adjacent below. The impeller is installed at the lower end of the main shaft. There is a pulley on the upper end of the spindle, which is driven to rotate by a motor. Air is drawn in through the intake pipe, and the slurry level of each flotation cell is adjusted by a gate. Circulation is installed above the impeller, and the size of the holes can be adjusted by a pull rod.

　　During operation, the motor drives the main shaft to rotate through the motor pulley and the main shaft pulley, and the impeller rotates together with the main shaft. As a result, a local vacuum zone is formed between the cover plate and the impeller, and air is sucked in through the suction tube and the air cylinder. At the same time, the slurry is sucked in through the suction pipe, and after mixing, the centrifugal force generated by the rotation of the impeller is thrown into the groove through the guide blades on the edge of the cover plate. The strong stirring of the impeller makes the air in the pulp disperse into bubbles and evenly distribute in the pulp. When the suspended mining industry collides with the bubbles, the floatable particles attach to the bubbles and are brought to the liquid surface by the bubbles to form a mineralized foam layer, which is then scraped out by the scraper as the concentrate, and the particles not attached to the bubbles are discharged into the next tank as tailings.

　　The function of XJK flotation machine:

　　(1) A vacuum chamber similar to a pump, composed of a cover plate, creates a negative pressure zone, allowing the slurry to flow naturally, air to self suction, and circulating the slurry in the tank.

　　(2) The rotation of the impeller disperses the inhaled air into bubbles and evenly disperses them in the slurry. The stirring of the impeller also suspends the mineral particles and fully contacts them with the bubbles.

　　(3) Causing mineral particles to suspend.

　　(4) Fully dissolve and disperse the medication.

　　The cover plate is a hollow disc made of cast iron or lined with rubber, with 18-20 slurry circulation holes opened on it. At the bottom edge, there are 18-20 guide vanes arranged diagonally at an angle of 600 to the radius, with the inclination direction consistent with the rotation direction of the impeller.

　　The function of the cover plate is to:

　　(1) Combined with the impeller to form a pump, it generates inflation effect, that is, when the slurry is thrown out by the impeller, negative pressure suction is formed under the cover plate.

　　(2) The guide vanes have a guiding effect on the ejected slurry, reducing vortices and minimizing hydraulic losses, thus playing a stabilizing role in the flow.

　　(3) Adjust the amount of slurry entering the impeller to increase internal circulation of the slurry.

　　(4) Ensure that the impeller is not buried by mineral sand during parking, thereby preventing the motor from being cut off during driving

　　In order to facilitate maintenance and ensure accurate clearance between the impeller cover plate and concentric equipment, as well as to integrate the main shaft and air cylinder, cheap components are lifted out of the groove for maintenance. To prevent the formation of vortices in the slurry, upright stabilizing plates are installed around the bottom of the tank.

　　Adjust the liquid level by rotating the handwheel and raising or lowering the tailings overflow dam gate by 20 meters. The sand holes located under the tailings overflow weir can allow coarse and high-density mineral particles that settle to the bottom of the tank to be directly discharged into the suction tank. In order to regulate the amount of slurry discharged through the sand hole, a sand hole gate is installed. Both practical and theoretical research have proven that increasing the aeration rate can greatly enhance the production capacity of flotation machines and improve flotation indicators.
